The conference was held in the small southern German town of Irsee in a former monastery. Outside, the ground was covered in snow. Inside there were 48 talks and 81 participants. The six main lectures were as follows: This volume contains 18 papers based on the talks given. They may be divided into six categories with their numbers of papers as follows:
